Priority Two
Program Priority Area Two
Foster scholarly and creative educational development activities in support of relevant programs in agriculture, natural resources and horticulture across the state.
Provide resources, support and training for specialists, agents and support staff to develop engaging online, synchronous or asynchronous, face-to-face, or blended educational opportunities in subject matter areas relevant to agriculture, natural resources and horticulture. This would involve identifying appropriate expertise in the highly visible relevant areas.
Relevant program areas might be:
- enhancing farm viability and sustainability,
- young and beginning farmer programs,
- farm diversification and farm transition,
- provide support in curricula design.
Facilitate the connection between this priority area and the current efforts of mobile application development, and video production support.
